Pure Vedic seers bathe in the Kaveri River, causing waves that spill the nectar from lotus blooms growing in the waters of Tiru-Arangam, Srirangam, and wear laundered vestures. It is the abode of the Lord Krishna who restored to his preceptor Sandipini the son who was lost at sea, --as he was, --as fee for his tuition with him.
